How Does LacSal Serum Work to Heal Scarring?
The LacSal serum will help your skin naturally exfoliate and remove damaged skin layers.
It is the serum version of Lac Sal cream lotion and it is not as thick as the cream and goes on as a light barely-there serum.
The serum can be used with an acne scar treatment routine to help encourage faster skin turnover, as a serum worn during the day. It can be used on scars to help exfoliate them as well as on active acne to help clear it up.
You can use the serum in conjuction with a copper peptide serum and micro-needling routine for best acne-scar results.
The skin heals in layers, and exfoliation using lactic acid and salicylic acid is one way to take off the top damaged layer of skin, including skin damage caused by acne scarring, to reveal healthy skin underneath.
LacSal serum is a clear serum you can easily wear during the day, similar to the LacSal cream which blends like a lotion and can also be worn during the day. It is an effective exfoliation agent that can be applied to skin both during the day and overnight, as it goes on as an unnoticeable clear serum.
The LacSal serum weakens the damaged, acne-scar skin structure to help the skin’s damaged areas easily shed off to reveal healthier skin underneath.
LacSal cream’s lactic acid and salicylic acid ingredients are able to break down the top layer of damaged skin to help it easily shed off while your healthy skin stays intact.
Damaged skin has a weaker skin structure than healthy skin, which is why using lactic and salicylic acid breaks down the already weak unhealthy skin structures such as acne scars or other damaged skin, and allows it to come off more easily to reveal the smooth, healthy skin underneath.
You can use the LacSal cream alone or at times when you are not using the copper peptide serum accelerate skin turnover and get faster / better results with your acne scar treatment routine.

Good day Stacy,
I am 52yrs and I have terrible acne scars since I was 20yrs can anyone of these items help me
Hi Charmaine, thank you for your question! Yes, these products stimulate the skin’s natural healing response and the skin is able to heal at all ages. I would recommend starting with the 1mm derma-roller & copper peptide serum (night), and if you want to try a morning product, add in the Vitamin C for the morning. Those are my favorite 3, and if you want to start with just two, I would recommend trying the derma-roller + copper peptide serum. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions! Copper peptides are great for anti-aging as well.
